In Faliraki there is an Emporiki bank, an Agrotiki Bank and a Eurobank.
They are open from Monday to Friday from 08:00-14:30 in the afternoon.
Visitors who want to exchange money in Euros or to cash a traveller's cheque must have their passports with them.

SHOPPING

All the Shops in Faliraki are open all day from 08:00am until late at night. In winter they are closed.
In the village of Kalithies, the shops are open all day until 9 in the evening except Sundays and holidays.
The Shopping centres are open from 09:00-13:00 and in the afternoon from 17:00-21:00 daily except Sundays and Holidays.

The island of Rhodes was awarded 2nd place in all of Greece in 2011, according to the Blue Flag environmental status. At a total of 32 blue flags for the island of Rhodes, 24 of them belong to Kallithea-Faliraki, 3 to Afandou, 2 in Lindos, 1 in Southern Rhodes, 1 in Ialissos and 1 in Rhodes Town.

Four hundred and thirty beaches and eight marinas gained the Quality Award "Blue Flags" Greece being in 2nd place amongst 40 countries, according to a press release by the Greek Environmental Protection Foundation (EEPF). In total the International committee awarded 2.632 beaches and 621 marinas.

The "Blue Flag" is an international quality assurance, well-known, environmental mark and has been awarded since 1987 to beaches and marinas corresponding to the strict legislation of organisation rules. Specifiacally, it is not only the cleanliness and quality of the water, but 32 in total points have to be met, referring to overall cleanliness, organisation, information, security and environmental protection of the coastal and surrounding areas.
